While searching for SEO white papers for Wordpress users, I came across to Blizzard Internet Marketing, Inc. The authors, Mary Bowling and Carrie Hill created a guide designed not only for wordpress beginners but also for those who haven’t touch the importance of SEO functionality of the Wordpress platform. They have agreed that Wordpress is for non-technical people because you don’t have to buy expensive web editors to modify or change the look of your site. Check and download the whitepaper here.
The following are the Wordpress plugins that will boost your ranking.
SEO Title Tag makes is dead-easy to optimize the title tags across your WordPress-powered blog or website.
It allows you to add tags either through the Write Post page in wordpress in a tag box, on posts using an AJAXy box, and in posts using special syntax from external editors (or internally, if you’d like). From the write post page, you can also get suggestions for tags using the Yahoo! keyword suggestion service.Once you’ve got your tags entered; you enter a realm of interesting ways of doing things with your tags.
This plugin adds XHTML META tags to your WordPress blog. The addition of the META tags is fully automatic , but it also includes all those features a SEO-concerned publisher would need in order to have total control over those meta tags.
4. Follow URL
This plugin provides a way to remove the nofollow tags introduced automatically by the WordPress software in the URL’s in comments and comment authors. The implementation is as optimum as possible without altering the WordPress code.
This plugin will display five contextually related post titles at the end of your post. It shows readers where they can find more information about the topic they’re already reading about. This can prompt your visitors to spend more time on your site, viewing more pages.
Social Bookmarks is a WordPress plugin that adds a list of XHTML compliant graphic links at the end of your posts that allow your visitors to easily submit them in a number of different social bookmarking sites (more than 50 sites are supported).
Added to the list are the SEO Wordpress plugins I used.
By default, the page title comes after the website title. In order to optimize every page, we will relocate the website title, right after the “separator”. Optimal Title will come into place as it mirrors the function of wp_title() exactly. This allows you to have your blog name tacked on to the end of the page title instead of having it appear first. Need instructions on how to install this plugin? Here is a very good detailed instruction I recently found on how to install it. Click here.
Must have plugin for bloggers who wish to optimize their blogs. With so many functions, you can tweak your blog at your delight. With Per Post/Page Tweaking, you can tweak the title, keywords and descriptions.
Do you know some SEO plugins for Wordpress? What are the benefits you enjoyed from such plugin? Add your list here.

Thanks for the great list; I am using most of the listed plug-ins but was able to find one that I do not have yet - remove the nofollow plug-in. I am installing it right now.
Also, thanks for taking time and organizing your post in such a way that it is really easy to get the plug-ins you mentioned.
