How Can I Keep Online Videos From Automatically Closing When They Start?

When i try to play online video’s, such as yahoo videos, it ususallu shows a commercial or something and then closes when the actuall video is supposed to start. I know that the server may not be respoding or something like that. Is there anyway to solve this problem so i can watch the videos?
