How Long Should I Wait?

I just sold my world of warcraft account for 500 dollars through paypal – how long should I wait before I spend it? Last time i sold my other wow account, the person filed for an unauthorized transaction and got their money back. I don’t want that to happen again, so I’m waiting to see. How long should I wait?
