Quick question about affiliate marketing?
Question by Dwight: Quick question about affiliate marketing?
Lets say I have a list of individual products. I have the links supplied to me from the provider. witch brings me to question 1> does that url supply the tracking id number i need to get credit for individual product sales? My second question is about building back links. Based off the way I design my site and provide those links via that affiliate url codes do those create back links? if not can someone please explain to me how to create back links? im using tools like allinanchor:, yahoo site explorer, and marketleap.com’s link popularity check. thanks for your time. you can contact me on yahoo i m. the s n is dv1crazymofo
right. i understand those urls will ultimately take them inside the store, that’s obviously what you are trying to accomplish, but do those urls i have been supplied with to create those links are the ones im going to want to use during linking a particular product to those urls?
i was asking if those links supplied within my site are going to ultimately count as back links via SEO. i appreciate your knowledge on the situation im just trying to get a better understanding of how this is all supposed to work. I have only been doing this for about a month and could use a little professional help. thanks for your time
all this information has been very useful. one more question. Am i supposed to be able to see my link id in that url that is on the focus product once they are actually inside the store. i.e. I use my id url copy, paste, go inside the store myself to the focus product, and copy that url then go back and use that url to create the link. Is this the correct way to do this?

The affiliate URL has your tracking ID. This is a link that point back to the site of the vendor not yours.
To be building backlinks for your own site, you have to see to it that hyperlinks using your keywords and your site’s URL are spread all over the Net. You usually do this by distributing viral articles as in article directories where other webmasters may republish them elsewhere.
You can also build backlinks using your keywords as tags at social bookmarking sites. If you have a blog, you can do deep linking by adding your blog’s RSS feed to your social media profiles if possible.
