When I got the chance of putting affiliate links inside a post, I see to it that it is hidden in the status bar of the browser. I used to hide it the hard way. I used a javascript from the javascriptkit.com where in you have to put the code within the head section of your blog or site this code.
Now the process does not end there, you still have to add this code to every link you wish to hide.
<a href="http://www.affiliatecrunch.com" onMouseover="return hidestatus()">Affiliate Crunch Recommends</a>
THE EASY WAY TO HIDE:
I will be presenting another way to hide the status bar message without using the above-mentioned script. Add the code below highlighted in Red to every link you wish to hide.
<a href="http://www.affiliatecrunch.com" OnMouseOver="javascript:window.status='';return true;">Affiliate Crunch Recommends</a>
So far, this is the easiest way to hide a link in the status bar. If you know something related to this trick, please let me know.
